On July 2010, we began the adoption process through One World Adoptions to adopt 2 baby boys from the Democratic Republic of Congo (a.k.a. the DRC). Many children here are classified as “true orphans” where both parents are either deceased due to war or disease, or they are considered “social orphans” where they have simply been abandoned.
